By being a member of the A.K.F. you are linked to over 160 countries worldwide as the A.K.F. is the Australian member of the World Karate Federation (W.K.F.). The W.K.F. has full Olympic recognition and conducts the official Senior and Junior/Cadet World Championships on alternate years.

Another benefit is ready access to coaching and officiating courses and subsequent qualifications. We are the Government recognised body to conduct NCAS (coaching) and NOAS (officiating) accreditation courses.
